In a six-month study, those who consistently took chondroitin experienced significantly improved hand joint pain and flexibility compared to the control group.

Improved Walking Ability

One study showed that chondroitin supplementation improved walking speed. After walking the same distance, the group that took chondroitin for six months reduced their walking time, whereas the control group showed no change.

Many arthritis patients experience stiffness in the joints in the morning. In a study involving such patients, those who took chondroitin reported a decrease in the duration of morning stiffness compared to the control group.
